Celebrate Halloween with fun events and special dining experiences in the UAE!
Every year on October 31, people around the world celebrate Halloween by dressing up, especially children who wear spooky costumes. Decorations make homes, restaurants, and hotels look festive and a little spooky.
Halloween started as an Irish festival called ‘Samhain,’ which marked the end of summer. People used fire and masks to keep away spirits. Over time, this tradition changed into the fun, family activity we know as “trick-or-treating.”
In the UAE, restaurants and hotels join in the celebration by offering special Halloween-themed decorations and menus.
Pumpkin Properties Session
In the UAE, Sense Spa at the Rosewood Abu Dhabi offers a special pumpkin treatment for the season. This treatment is designed to refresh your skin using natural pumpkin ingredients.
The three-hour session includes a scrub made from coffee or rice bran, pumpkin, and coconut milk, which provides important vitamins and antioxidants.
It starts with a soothing head massage to ease tension, followed by a 60-minute relaxing massage with coconut oil to deeply hydrate your skin, making it a perfect way to enjoy autumn.
La Niña Restaurant
For Halloween, La Niña Restaurant creates a dark, spooky atmosphere with its “Vampires of the Opera” event. This evening features a fine dining experience with live performances from an opera singer, a harpist, and DJ VNSA.
Candlelight and elegant decor set the scene with a vampire-inspired style, and Halloween-themed drinks add to the mystery. Guests are invited to dress in costume to match the creative Halloween spirit.
Al Jaddaf Rotana Suite Hotel
The hotel has a fancy Halloween-themed afternoon tea in a calm and nice setting. Guests can go to the tea room to enjoy tasty treats like smoked salmon with onion, goat cheese with fried shrimp, and different sandwiches.
The tea is served with a selection of desserts, including red fruit éclairs, berry panna cotta, and blueberry macarons. Guests can finish off their tea with fresh coffee, aromatic tea, or mineral water.
Adaline
There is a modern club in the center of the Dubai International Financial Centre, getting ready for a spooky Halloween party with Gothic decorations, live music, and Italian food.
The band “Alessandro Ristori & The Portofinos” will perform songs with Italian style from the 60s and 70s, as well as American hits from the 50s and British pop rock.
The club’s resident band and DJ will keep the fun atmosphere going all night.
Ladurée
Ladurée is celebrating Halloween with a special selection of French pastries that are both spooky and delicious. One of the standout treats is the “Popcorn Tart,” which has a crunchy pastry filled with almond cream and corn, topped with macadamia nuts, roasted corn praline, and caramel popcorn.
They are also offering eight unique macarons, each inspired by the magical theme of Halloween, adding some festive fun to their famous sweets.
