Exclusive Interview with Hana Hamzeh: Empowering Arab Youth through Financial Freedom

Hana Hamzeh Interview

Hana Hamzeh, the founder and CEO of Fifreedomtoday, is a visionary leader dedicated to making financial literacy accessible and actionable for Arab youth. With a rich background in media and a deep passion for financial empowerment, she has built Fifreedomtoday as an independent platform that challenges traditional norms and inspires a new generation to take control of their financial futures. In this exclusive interview, she shares her journey, challenges, and vision for Financial Hero Academy—her latest initiative designed to bridge the financial knowledge gap.

Inspiration Behind Fifreedomtoday

We started the interview by asking, “Hana, your journey from media to financial literacy advocacy is fascinating. What inspired you to start Fifreedomtoday?”

Hana Hamzeh replied, “My career in media gave me a deep understanding of how information shapes perspectives and decisions. But when it came to personal finance, I saw a huge gap—especially in the Arab world. Financial education was either too complicated or completely missing from mainstream conversations. I wanted to change that. Fifreedomtoday was born out of a desire to simplify financial concepts, empower individuals with knowledge, and break the cycle of financial dependency.”

Building Fifreedomtoday

The Arab Today: Fifreedomtoday is now one of the leading platforms for financial literacy in the Arab world. How did you establish it as an independent platform?

Hana Hamzeh replied, “Independence was non-negotiable. I wanted Fifreedomtoday to be a voice that truly serves people, not a corporate agenda. It wasn’t easy—building a media platform without external influence requires resilience. We focused on authentic content, trust, and engagement. We didn’t follow trends blindly; we built a community by addressing real financial concerns with honest, clear, and practical advice. Today, we reach millions, but the mission remains the same: financial freedom for all.”

Financial Independence

The Arab Today: You often talk about financial independence as empowerment, especially for women. Why is this so important to you?

Hana Hamzeh replied, “Because I’ve seen what financial dependence does—it limits choices, dreams, and confidence. I believe true empowerment begins with financial independence. When women control their finances, they control their lives. They can walk away from toxic environments, invest in their futures, and create opportunities for themselves and their families. My goal with Fifreedomtoday and Financial Hero Academy is to give them the tools to do just that.”

Financial Hero Academy

The Arab Today: Speaking of Financial Hero Academy, what makes it different from traditional financial education?

Hana Hamzeh replied, “I don’t even like the word “education” because it sounds passive. That’s why we focus on training and real-world practices. Financial Hero Academy is not about theoretical knowledge—it’s about action. We work with universities, schools, fintech companies, and e-learning platforms to create interactive programs that teach people how to manage their money, invest, and build wealth in real life. The goal is to turn every participant into a financial hero who takes charge of their future.”

Embracing Digital Innovation

The Arab Today: The media landscape is evolving rapidly. How do you see Fifreedomtoday adapting to these changes?

Hana Hamzeh replied, “We embrace change. Whether it’s AI, blockchain, or Web3, we integrate new tools to make financial literacy more engaging and accessible. But at the core, our success comes from staying authentic and relevant. We listen to our audience, understand their struggles, and create content that solves real problems. That’s why our community keeps growing—because they know we’re here for them, not just for clicks.”

A Milestone in Media Innovation

The Arab Today: Fifreedomtoday has gained significant recognition. You were recently shortlisted as one of the top three finalists in the Innovation category of a prestigious Publisher Award. What does this mean for you and the platform?

Hana Hamzeh replied, “Being shortlisted among the top three in the Innovation category is an incredible honor. It’s a recognition of the hard work, resilience, and vision behind Fifreedomtoday. This platform was built to challenge the status quo, to bring financial literacy into everyday conversations, and to do it in a way that is engaging, practical, and accessible. For me, this shortlisting is not just a personal achievement—it’s proof that independent, impact-driven media can create real change.

More importantly, it reinforces my belief that Fifreedomtoday is on the right path. Financial literacy has traditionally been overlooked, especially in the Arab world, and this recognition highlights the importance of what we’re doing. It motivates me to push even further, to innovate more, reach more people, and continue breaking financial taboos. Whether we win or not, this is a win for the mission we’re driving forward.”

Advice for Aspiring Entrepreneurs

The Arab Today: You’ve built a powerful platform from scratch. What advice do you have for aspiring entrepreneurs?

Hana Hamzeh replied, “Start now. Stop waiting for the perfect moment—it doesn’t exist. The biggest obstacle is often fear of failure, but failure is just feedback. Learn from it, pivot, and keep going. Also, surround yourself with the right people—mentors, friends, and partners who push you forward. I wouldn’t be here without the incredible people who believed in the vision of Fifreedomtoday.”

Paving the Way

Finally we asked, what’s your ultimate vision for Fifreedomtoday and Financial Hero Academy?

Hana Hamzeh replied, “I want to see millions of financially independent Arab youth leading with confidence, making smart financial decisions, and building generational wealth. I want Fifreedomtoday to be the go-to platform for financial literacy in the Arab world, and I see Financial Hero Academy transforming the way people learn about money. This is not just a business—it’s a movement.”

Any final message for our readers?

Don’t wait for someone to give you permission to take control of your finances. You are your own hero. The journey to financial freedom starts with one step—take it today.

Success is no just about profits it is about the impact” Hana Hamzeh Concluded
