Rehan Naeem Empowering Transformation: How Become Is Redefining Leadership and Workplace Culture

Rehan Naeem Interview

In this insightful interview, with Rehan Naeem we explores the vision and mission behind Become, a consultancy dedicated to transforming workplace culture through neuroscience-based leadership development, employee wellbeing, and strategic change. Founded on the belief that real transformation starts from within, Become partners with organizations to foster trust, collaboration, and lasting impact—empowering people and businesses to thrive together.

A Purpose-Driven Journey

We started the interview by asking, “What inspired you to establish Become, and what is its core mission?”

Rehan Naeem replied, “I’ve always been passionate about transforming lives through creative and meaningful change. That passion led me to establish Become, a consultancy focused on helping organizations develop their people and foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and impact. Our core mission is to enable organizations to thrive by aligning leadership, enhancing employee experience, and driving cultural transformation. We specialize in areas like leadership development, employee happiness, and future-ready skills, helping businesses create workplaces where employees feel valued and motivated. By assessing an organization’s challenges, designing tailored strategies, and implementing effective enablement tools, we bridge the gap between aspiration and execution. At Become, we don’t just consult we partner with organizations to create lasting change.”

Driving Change from Within

The Arab Today: How does Become help organizations drive cultural transformation and leadership development?

Rehan Naeem replied, “Culture transformation isn’t just about policies it’s about people, behaviors, and mindsets. At Become, we help organizations shift towards an employee-centric culture that fosters collaboration, engagement, and high performance. Our approach starts with understanding a company’s objectives and identifying gaps that may be holding it back. We then design strategies that align leadership development with business goals, ensuring that executives and employees move in the same direction.

We use a structured framework Evaluate, Evolve, Engage, and Enable to create sustainable change. By assessing organizational dynamics, developing leadership mindsets, and implementing learning solutions rooted in neuroscience, we help teams adopt new behaviors that drive results. Our goal is to make organizations not only successful but also places where people feel motivated, valued, and empowered to grow.”

Measuring What Matters

The Arab Today: With your extensive experience in employee happiness and wellbeing, how do you measure the impact of these initiatives?

Rehan Naeem replied, “Employee happiness isn’t just a feel-good factor it’s directly linked to productivity, retention, and overall business success. At Become, we take a data-driven approach to measuring impact. We conduct engagement surveys, analyze performance metrics, and gather qualitative insights from employees to understand how our strategies are influencing workplace culture.

One of the key indicators of success is behavioral change. Are employees more engaged? Are leaders creating an environment of trust and inclusion? We also track improvements in leadership effectiveness, collaboration, and job satisfaction. By implementing neuroscience-based learning and wellbeing programs, we ensure that employees feel supported and motivated. Our ultimate goal is to create a workplace where employees are not just working they’re thriving.”

Harnessing the Brain

The Arab Today: How has your background in neuroscience-based learning influenced the way you design leadership and training programs?

Rehan Naeem replied, “Neuroscience has revolutionized the way we understand learning and behavior. Through my certifications in brain-based and neuroscience-based learning, I’ve developed leadership programs that align with how the brain processes information, retains knowledge, and makes decisions. Traditional training often fails because it doesn’t consider how people learn best.

At Become, we design programs that focus on engagement, emotional intelligence, and behavioral reinforcement. By incorporating storytelling, real-world applications, and interactive methodologies, we make learning more impactful and sustainable. We also emphasize mindset shifts, ensuring that leaders don’t just acquire skills but genuinely transform the way they think and lead. When people understand how their brains work, they can make more conscious decisions, embrace change, and develop stronger leadership qualities.”

Overcoming Resistance

Lastly we asked, “What are some of the biggest challenges organizations face in culture transformation, and how does Become address them?”

One of the biggest challenges in culture transformation is resistance to change. Many organizations struggle with deeply ingrained habits, misaligned leadership, and a lack of employee trust. Culture isn’t something that changes overnight it requires sustained effort, strategic alignment, and a shift in mindsets.

At Become, we address these challenges by first understanding the root causes of resistance. We then work closely with leadership teams to align their vision with employee expectations. Through tailored strategies, interactive workshops, and enablement tools, we help businesses create environments where employees feel heard, valued, and motivated to contribute. Culture transformation isn’t about forcing change it’s about inspiring it. When employees see leadership committed to their growth and wellbeing, they naturally become more engaged, leading to a more productive and positive workplace.” Rehan Naeem Concluded
